The Windsor Y62 System
Dual 2.5" into single 3' catback sports system with 3" tailpipe in 304 stainless. Factory system: restrictive design, the chronically large, chambered centre muffler creates enormous amount of back pressure which limits performance and noise. Windsor system: superbly designed and tested to maximise flow & performance and reveal the true deep note of this V8.
Available in 3 different noise levels, quiet medium and loud. The quieter system has a large sports center muffler as well as a small muffler in the rear, the medium noise level has a resonator in the centre & small rear muffler and the loud system has just a small rear muffler.
This system has better clearance off the transfer case solenoid than most other brands.
Tig welded option available for an extra $400
Low and medium noise levels are 99% drone free. If you're doing a lot of towing, we'd recommend the quiet system.
To prevent any heat issues with the actuator, the system is designed to sit further away from it, also heat wrap is applied to the pipe that runs near the actuator as well as a heat shield is installed.
